Notable Changes From The Previous Year


The EX trim has a new front acoustic glass for a less noisy ride. The GT trim also has the same acoustic glass, LED interior lighting, a sunroof, and gloss-black body moulding. The heated steering wheel is now standard, as well.

Performance Specs


There are two engines available. Basic models have a 1.6L 4-cylinder turbo, with 195 ft-lb of torque capacity and 180hp. The GT trim enjoys a much more powerful setup: a 2.5L 4-cylinder turbo with a 311 ft-lb of torque capacity and 290hp. Regarding fuel efficiency, the LX, EX, and GT Line enjoy 9.3L/100km (city) and 7.0L/100km (highway), while the GT delivers 9.9L/100km and 7.3L/100km, respectively.

Design Elements


The entry-level model has black cloth upholstery as standard, while the other trims have black leather available. You can even opt for brown leather upholstery in the flagship model. The driver’s seat is adjustable and heated, and the back seats are foldable. You can control the temperature via a dual-zone climate control system, while the GT has a sport steering wheel and air-cooled front seats.

The LX trim has 16-inch alloy wheels, while mid-tier trims have 18-inch alloy wheels and the flagship model has 19-inch wheels. LED lightings are standard for all models. There’s a panoramic sunroof included in all models except the LX, and there are also luxury features available in higher models, like sport-type grilles, gloss black bumpers (GT Line), and a dark chrome rear skid plate (GT).

Technology and Safety Features


The LX and EX have the same 8-inch touchscreen display, mobile compatibility, a 4.2-inch LCD instrument cluster, and Bluetooth. The EX trim adds smart cruise control, LED interior lighting, and wireless phone charging to those features. The GT Line and GT trims have a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen display, Kia Connect, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The flagship model also has a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster.

All models have nine airbags and several driving assists, such as electronic stability control, ABS, blindspot collision avoidance, and forward collision avoidance. The GT also has a parking collision avoidance assist.
